More adventures from our fun weekend - April 2012, Children's Zoo at Celebration Square and Chippewa Nature Center

A weekend spent with a little one we love... Exploring the zoo and the nature center :)

More Updates :)

I am officially really bad about keeping up on this!  For anyone who knows us and wants to keep more updated, Facebook is much a better bet, lol! ;)  On March 19, we found out baby to be is a boy!  Boy #4 has been named Jackson Henry.  The top pic, taken at about 20/21 weeks is one of my more updated pregnancy pics.  Bottom is Jack, curled up on his belly in the womb.  It's incredible how technology is so advanced!

Older boys are doing wonderfully.  They are enjoying a more rigorous school routine we have set out to accomplish and are currently enjoying learning about Paul Revere, the American Revolutionary War, and the African continent.  They are both excelling in handwriting and math and Ben is flying through the "Magic Tree House" book series.  I am so proud of them!

 Harris turns 2!!
In late February, Harrison turned 2!  We had a wonderful little celebration with just the five of us.  We had recently given up gluten and eggs due to dietary sensitivities, so it would as an "adjustment" preparing the cake this year, but all turned out well!  He's such a happy boy!

Since then, spring has sprung!  It's gorgeous outside and we're praying we've seen the last of winter.  I'm ready for the warmth and sunshine!

The pregnancy is going well; I'm looking forward to finding out the gender of the baby in the next week.  Otherwise, the morning sickness has finally passed and my appetite has increased.

Updates!

Guess I haven't really been on here in months, have I?  We've been busy going through life.  And, surprise!  For those who didn't already know, we're expecting baby #4 in August!  We found out shortly before Christmas and at present, the pregnancy is 12 weeks along.  We attempted to hear the heartbeat on Monday night at our first prenatal appointment with our midwife, but baby was hidden behind the placenta so we couldn't get clear heart tones.  We did hear the whooshing of the placenta, heard kicks, and I simultaneously felt kicks, so I'm not concerned about it the lack of a clear Doppler heartbeat. Our kids are so excited!  They can't wait to find out if we're having another boy or a little girl.

Life is plugging on quite well.  Here in our Great Lakes State, we haven't had much of a winter.  So we're all getting ready for spring a little earlier, though the weatherman says we're in for a little bit more snow.  We'll see!
